At the Maritime Terminal proceed to the Cruise Whitsundays counter to complete your check in. From here you will be introduced to your crew and escorted to your vessel.
Board our Whitehaven vessel for the scenic cruise to this magnificent beach. Your cruise vessel has expansive seating areas inside and out and your friendly skipper will provide an informative commentary on the history and natural wonders of the area. Sit back, breathe in the sea air, sip a wine or beer and marvel at the 74 Island Wonders of the Whitsundays, starting with views of Passage Peak and the imposing Pentecost Island.
The waters of Solway Passage lead us to the world famous Whitehaven Beach, a definite ‘must see’ in the Whitsundays. The crystal clear aqua waters and pristine white silica sands stretch for over seven kilometres along Whitsunday Island, the largest of the 74 islands in the Whitsundays. It is Mother Nature at her best – the most photographed beach in Australia and named ‘Queensland’s Most Beautiful Beach’.
Wander along the beach to your own secluded stretch, laze on the sand or cool off in the azure waters before returning to Hamilton Island to explore and have lunch.
Lunch on Hamilton Island, hop-on/hop-off shuttle buses take you past key attractions, scenic lookouts and holiday accommodation. Cool-off in the main pool with its swim-up bar, visit iconic Catseye Beach, or browse the waterfront shops and galleries.
The waters of Solway Passage may lead us to the world famous Whitehaven Beach as read in the Whitehaven Morning section but… the return trip from Whitehaven Beach to Hamilton Island also includes free drinks and nibblies. After picking up passengers from Hamilton Island we head home to Port of Airlie.
Settle down on board, grab your favourite drink or some afternoon tea and get ready for your ride around the Whitsunday Islands as you make your way back to Port. The views of the Islands are breathtaking. On arrival at the Port you will be escorted you to your bus to take you back to your accommodation if applicable or make your way back to your accommodation to look back on a great day out with Cruise Whitsundays on the Ultimate Whitehaven Beach & Hill Inlet Lookout tour.
