Snorkel & Dive tour plus Hill Inlet

Travel aboard Mantaray in an enclosed cabin or enjoy the shaded outdoor seating.  Join a guided walk to Hill Inlet lookout and swim in the stunning, swirling silica sands. After the beach, cruise to the dive and snorkel site the crew have chosen for the day to experience the beauty below the water.  Ample time is allowed for scuba diving and snorkelling the best fringing reef in the Whitsunday Islands.

What To Bring
A few suggestions to compliment your tour
  • Swimming costume... It is easier put your swimming costume on underneath your clothes prior to boarding.
  • A beach bag including a towel, hat, sunscreen and a water bottle.
  • A jacket during winter to protect you from wind and for warmth after snorkelling.
  • Cameras.
  • Cash or Card for Diving and extra drinks for sale on board.

If you are making your own way, be at Northern End of Abell Point Marina, near the roundabout, by the check-in time.

Once the paperwork is finished you will be introduced to your crew and escorted to your vessel.

Let's go!Your Mantaray adventure begins

Cruise to Tongue Bay on Whitsunday Island to do a guided National Park bushwalk to the Hill Inlet Lookout then head down the other side for some time on the swirling sands of the famous Hill Inlet.

Time to build up your energy levelsHaving fun works up an appetite

The staff will serve morning and afternoon tea including a buffet style lunch during the day

It's Snorkel and Dive timeThe colourful coral, tropical fish and crystal clear waters are waiting for you

Once anchored at your snorkelling/diving site the crew will give you a snorkelling/diving safety briefing, fit you with your snorkelling/diving gear then it’s into the warm waters (average yearly water temp 26c) to explore the coral and swim with the tropical fish and maybe a turtle. Can’t swim well… no worries. Your crew will fit you out with either a buoyancy vest or other flotation device to enjoy snorkelling the Whitsundays fringing reefs.

Homeward BoundThis is not just a boat trip to Port, It's a tour of the Whitsunday Islands

After snorkelling we head for home at Airlie Beach. This is not just a boat trip back to port but a tour of the Whitsunday Islands; the views of the Islands are breathtaking. On arrival to the Port you will be escorted to your courtesy bus to take you back to your accommodation to look back on a great day out on the Mantaray Snorkel and Dive tour.
