At the Maritime Terminal proceed to the Cruise Whitsundays counter to complete your check in. From here you will be introduced to your crew and escorted to your vessel.
This is a sailing trip so we rely on Mother Nature and naturally things will vary according to conditions. Our fun, well informed crew with years of local experience will give you the best sailing experience possible and ensure you have a memorable day.
Enjoy the swirling sands of Hill Inlet before your walk to the Hill Inlet lookout. A great photo and “selfie” opportunity from one of the most photographed locations in Australia. Enjoy a guided walk following the path and history of the Whitsunday traditional owners, the Ngaro people. Our Tour Guides will lead you to the lookout and that picture postcard view. Learn about the history, flora and stories from the informative displays along the way that provide an insight into this picturesque area.
Once anchored at your snorkelling site the crew will give you a snorkelling safety briefing, fit you with your snorkelling gear then it’s into the warm waters (average yearly water temp 26c) to explore the coral and swim with the tropical fish and maybe a turtle. Can’t swim well? No worries! Your crew will fit you out with either a buoyancy vest or other flotation device to enjoy snorkelling the Whitsundays fringing reefs.
Morning and afternoon tea, a delicious barbecue lunch, and all refreshments, including alcoholic beverages are included throughout the day. A wonderful banquet of tropical cuisine and seasonal salads await you onboard Camira. Camira is licensed to serve beer and wine from 11am.
Settle down on board, grab your favourite drink or some afternoon tea and get ready for your ride around the Whitsunday Islands as you make your way back to Port. The views of the Islands are breathtaking. On arrival at the Port you will be escorted you to your bus to take you back to your accommodation if applicable or make your way back to your accommodation to look back on a great day out with Cruise Whitsundays purple cat… Camira.
