See Crocodiles In The Wild

Whitsundays Crocodile Safari is a family owned, professionally operated, fully guided and safe day trip  Experience a nature excursion into the estuaries and wetlands of the Whitsundays, operated on private land and  the only commercial tour operator on the Proserpine River. The unique tropical environment is home to many species of native and migratory birds, mammals, reptiles and marine animals including approximately 150 estuarine crocodiles.  Cruise the calm waters as you watch estuarine crocodiles in their natural habitat. Explore a mangrove ecosystem and observe the wildlife inhabitants. Explore Goorganga Plains to discover the wildlife in a freshwater wetland habitat.

Departure & Return Location

Courtesy return transfer from your accommodation.

Departure Time

Departure approximately 8.30am and returns approximately 3.00pm. Times can vary due to tides.

After arriving at the camp site you will be welcomed by your guide and given an introduction to the days events

Hop on board our boat and start your cruise of the Proserpine River. This river has the second largest population of estuarine crocodiles in Australia.

Time to explore the Wetlands and get some foodWetland Wagon/Train Tour

Enjoy an Aussie BBQ lunch then relax and enjoy the wild life of the wetlands aboard the Wetlands Wagon/train. Arriving back at the campsite it’s time for some Billy tea and Damper .
